About Kate

Kate is a fully qualified naturopathic Nutritional Therapist, trained in Functional Medicine who qualified at the College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CHNC) and the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) as well as with the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP). Kate is committed to helping people take back control of their hormones and their health.

Kate's nutritional health journey began after leaving a stressful, 20-year corporate career in Banking Technology and graduating from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM). After struggling with stress and hormone imbalance for years and trying multiple modalities, Kate changed some habits, finding strategies that really worked as she ventured into her own peri-menopause. Kate is a hormone balance expert, helping women of all ages to restore thyroid and hormonal balance, achieve healthy weight loss and banish mood swings. Kate can help clients manage their menopause to reduce sweats, improve ageing skin, and overcome fatigue and brain fog. She also works with gut-related issues, which drive many underlying health conditions and cause imbalance. Working with targeted functional testing and a detailed health assessment, Kate will provide you with the necessary tools and knowledge for a more harmonious monthly cycle, long-lasting health and a stress-free transition into your menopause years.

As a naturopathic nutritional therapist with functional medicine training, Kate recognises that each person is unique, and takes a holistic approach to your health through a focus on food, nutrition, lifestyle, mind and spirit. Health advice is tailored to your own specific needs and is designed to fit around your daily life.

Testimonials

“Kate offers a nurturing and empowering journey towards better health. She was clear and focussed about my goals and it really helped me to define these at the start of our work together. Kate is very supportive and I really appreciated the time she took to listen to what was going on for me in a caring and non-judgmental way. I found that Kate’s flexible approach to the sessions really worked in that sessions could be shorter or longer as I required, and it felt good to have several months together to see if symptoms had improved over that time period.

The protocols Kate set up for me were incredibly thorough but never overwhelming. Being a detail person, I appreciated the amount of information Kate sent through so I could understand what it was we were looking to achieve as well as the how and why. The DUTCH test that Kate initiated was easy to do and hugely informative - but without Kate to explain what the results meant I would have been lost. So it really was Kate’s support and deep knowledge of nutrition and hormones that made the most difference.

Thank you Kate for supporting me into a place of better and more balanced health.” - Ruth M

“I was lucky to meet Kate Lee around the time I was diagnosed with gallstones. We originally intended to work together on my gallstones, weight and hormonal issues but by the time of our first session my gallstones had become such a large issue that they eclipsed everything else.

I do not know how I would have got through my gallstone issues and surgery without Kate’s support. She told me what I could eat to manage the gallstones and support my liver. She suggested supplements to help me. The sessions I had with her were very thorough. She always explained everything to me in detail, so I understood why I was making the changes and learned a lot about nutrition and healthier eating habits. She consistently went above and beyond what I expected - promptly answering worried emails from me outside of our sessions, interpreting blood test results for me (including highlighting when my GP had tested for the wrong thing!) She helped me prepare for surgery and supported me before and after it.

All of my interactions with Kate left me feeling supported, understood, cared for and empowered. Dealing with major health issues is lonely and scary, having Kate in my corner made me feel I could cope.

I would highly recommend working with her. Although the gallstones took over, the changes she has helped me make mean I have also lost weight and my hormones are more steady. I feel my health has massively improved overall due to Kate’s input.” - Anna H
