Despite all the hype surrounding gluten nowadays, it is very important not to cut out all gluten containing foods from your diet unless you have been diagnosed gluten intolerant or celiac. Doing so can actually lead to a lack of some vital nutrients, specifically B vitamins which are found in grain foods.
Additionally going gluten free may even be responsible for inducing gluten intolerance, as our body does not know how to respond to gluten when we eventually eat it again. If a gluten free diet is required due to celiac disease, the individual must be very careful not to exclude vital nutrients.
